The Judicial Conference of the United States has authorized the appointment of a full-time United States Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court, District of Minnesota. The position will be located in the District of Minnesota, at the Gerald W. Heaney Federal Building, Duluth.

The current salary of the full-time position is $229,908 per year.  The term of office for a full-time magistrate judge is eight years; incumbents may be reappointed to successive terms.
